I'm a pint-sized visual artist from London who loves animals, horror films, good food, heavy metal and my wonderful husband. I created BobCat Gallery to sell not only my own work, but to showcase beautiful, affordable and original artwork on a small scale, and to give emerging artists a positive selling experience.
A self-taught artist living and working in London, I primarily use acrylic, oils and found materials on canvas, usually creating small scale abstract pieces that people can easily find space for in their homes. I favours bright colours and plenty of texture, finding most of my inspiration in the natural world and in my favourite music.
My practice has adapted in recent years due to deteriorating motor function - I have Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, so difficulty gripping paint brushes has led to more experimentation with palette knives, stencils and spray paints, plus air-drying clay, collage and stitching. Read a feature about me in Niji Magazine >>
If you have questions about my work please get in touch. You can find me on Twitter or on Instagram, and I'm also a member of the Advisory Group for ArtCan, an organisation devoted to creating opportunities for artists without compromise to their artistic exploration or development. Read my blog for them here.
I am also part of the Executive Committee for Arts Richmond, representing visual arts across the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames.
